Tear Gas 03:09
Pick a word no one knows, mark it on your tombstone. Time will pass, friends won't last. Washing off the meaning. Trying not to be cruel, drowning rats in the city pool. Riot gear hanging up, in the metal lockers. If you move, they will shoot stars into your eyelids. Looking up at the sky, as if the clouds would answer why. We've all got someone to lose. But when you've lost them, there ain't nothing you can do.
2.
Joy Ride 03:01
Said you weren't coming over, so why do I wait? Staring out the window, imagining some company. I think I'll take a Joy Ride, or maybe just a little leap of faith. Driving on the sidewalk, shooting off my mouth at the people in my way. You need to buy some groceries. It's time to make some money. Locked in a window-filled room, where the dust and dead flowers talk to you, whispering sweet nothings in the afternoon. You should probably call your family, or someone you rely on. Maybe just a neighbor, before your house becomes your coffin.
3.
Take good care, of all your dead roses. Too much sun, and not enough rain these days. You don't call, or you don't like me at all. Or maybe it's just indecisiveness. Cause we belong forever dumb, with our cloudy skulls lying next to someone that you really love. I tried to teach myself a dead language. I couldn't express my pain any other way. When I get home, I try to think all those happy thoughts. But when I do, I just want to call and tell them to you.
4.
They were silent and stone-faced, but nobody saw them like I did. Floating right above my bed, resting my head. On a shoulder, that I used to call a friend's. Even if we're not speaking, I can always pretend. You can blame it all on me, whatever helps you sleep. And turns all your nightmares into dreams. I can still feel you breathing, even when I'm dead I'll hear your voice. You're calling me a failure (like I haven't heard that one before). Got too many notebooks, and not enough ideas. Got too many ideas, and not enough thought. Put your head in the clouds, give me all that you got.
5.
"For Minna".

Hitch Hiking 03:22
Whether it's possible, nobody really knows. Running in patterns you can't seem to break or hold. Watching the flowers drown in the rain. Stuck in an inside joke, sitting here on your own. Sleeping in parking lots of department stores. I might look alone, but that's not how I feel. Some nights, there is no m-o-o-o-n light. Just a fire burning in my room. I'll never go to sleep, got too many books to read. And if I finally fall into a resting state, I'll be late for work, but they'll just have to wait. Some nights, I see the moonlight struggling across the blackened sky. So if you need a good reason to exist, sad to say but you're only wasting time.
7.
Chromatism 03:09
Her favorite color is a Chromatism, she doesn't need a reason why. There's beauty in the rust and discoloration, as her tears rolled slowly by. She said: "It's lonely at the bottom of my wishful life." Sometimes I feel I'd be a better person, if I never went outside. I'd have water from the tap and plants delivered, all I'd have to do is sign. She's on the fire escape, in the pouring rain. I've got a lot to say, but I'll just have to wait.

9.
I remember when in your quiet way, you were always listening. Don't have much to say because, you were always thinking. I didn't want to go to work, you didn't want to grow too old. So I quit my job and you left the world. A smile on your face, we hadn't seen in ages overtook you. Back to your old self. You were always so quiet, but now you're silent.
